We provide thorough genetic counseling to those patients with a genetic disease or congenital disease as well as their family members.
The counseling includes notification of diagnoses as well as advice on healthcare and family planning, and is provided by a team consisting of a clinical geneticist, clinical nurse(s), clinical psychotherapist(s), and certified genetic counselor(s).
The Department also carries out chromosome and genetic testing, as needed.
