The Comprehensive Cancer Center was established in 2006.
This center is involved in comprehensive cancer treatment and care, and consists of the "Division of Clinical Oncology", "the Division of Palliative Care" and "the Division of Cancer Education".
The Outpatient Treatment Room in the ivision of Clinical Oncology provides chemotherapy for patients on an out-patient basis.
There are 24 beds for drip infusion.
Doctors, nurses and pharmacists in the room are teaming up to provide safe and comfortable treatment for the patients.
The Palliative Care Team (PCT) was newly established in April, 2006 to provide further support for palliative care in the hospital.
The aim of the PCT is to cope with psychological and spiritual problems as well as cancer pain in cooperation with medical staff. |
